Jr. Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Jr. Maintenance Technician with 1+ years of meaningful experience. The role involves collaborating with production, manufacturing engineers, and chemical process engineers to support equipment uptime in the Microarray Manufacturing area, reporting to the equipment maintenance supervisor.

Support is required on the B‑shift, which runs from 4:45pm to 5:15am. The schedule alternates between Sunday‑to‑Tuesday one week and Sunday‑to‑Wednesday the following week. Off‑shift support (evenings and weekends) will also be required periodically.

• Maintain, repair, and support multidisciplinary manufacturing equipment, including equipment used for delivering chemicals to the production unit.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including supporting off‑shift (evening and/or weekend) maintenance on an ad‑hoc basis.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop preventive maintenance protocols for fab equipment and chemical delivery systems.
• Support manufacturing and chemical process engineers in resolving equipment issues; troubleshoot related to equipment and chemical delivery.
• Actively support a calibration program for equipment and environmental controls; maintain appropriate records for monitoring or tracking completion per schedule.
• Adhere rigorously to equipment safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment; identify and correct any equipment safety issues in collaboration with area Process Engineers and Agilent Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Install new equipment.

• Experience with mechanical and process troubleshooting for automated equipment, including electronics, robotics, and motion control.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing chemical delivery systems, including selection of fittings and valves compatible with a variety of process fluids.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Familiarity with Excel or other database systems.

• 1+ years of relevant experience using hand tools.
• Recent experience with repair systems used in semiconductor manufacturing, large‑scale robotics.
• AA in Electronics; experience troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards.
• Experience in an ISO
  13485 or ISO
  9001 quality environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols required for working with automated equipment and hazardous chemicals.

The US pay range for this full‑time position is $28.39–$44.36per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Pay within the range is determined by role, level, location, and other factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
