Home Care Aide

Addus Home Care is now seeking aides in the West Chicago area, including Oak Park, Berwyn and surrounding locations. We are looking for compassionate caregivers ready to make a difference in clients' lives.

Starting wage: $18.75 per hour. Travel reimbursement is provided.

• Assist with personal care.
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and help with meal preparation.
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands.

• Service or caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to drive and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer‑service skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Reliable and punctual.

Eligible employees and their dependents will be offered health insurance coverage through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund, including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are also eligible to enroll in an employer‑sponsored retirement plan after six months of service (21 years of age). Accrued paid time off (up to 75 hours per year based on tenure) and paid holidays are available for employees who have worked at least one year with the company and work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
