Position Overview
School Custodian II position to support cleanliness and maintenance of school facilities at the specified location.
SalarySchool Custodian II, BC-02: $4,534.00 per month.
Key Responsibilities- Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, hallways, stairways, and classrooms.
- Wiping, dusting, and polishing furniture, metal work, woodwork, walls, venetian blinds, electrical fixtures, windows, and other hard‑to‑reach areas.
- Cleansing and disinfecting lavatories and restrooms; cleaning water fountains and wash basins.
- Maintaining grounds: watering, raking, weeding, spreading topsoil, mowing, pruning hedges, trees, and shrubbery.
- Picking up rubbish and moving heavy objects such as furniture, benches, platforms, and disposal barrels.
- Loading, unloading, and distributing school and janitorial supplies and equipment.
- Replacing toilet floats, faucets, light bulbs, and fuses.
- Performing simple repairs to doors, windows, blinds, chairs, sprinkler systems, and other facilities.
- Operating heavy‑duty industrial cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, floor polishers, shampoo machines).
- Managing janitorial supplies and equipment inventory.
No experience required. Applicants should describe any relevant training or work experience in custodial, grounds maintenance, or general laboring activities, such as sweeping, dusting, cleaning, watering, fertilizing, trimming, mowing, moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and related tasks.
