Floor Care Technician - First Shift

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Floor Tech that is responsible for cleanliness of Friendship Village
- Kalamazoo, including but not limited to Village Apartments, Woodside, Health Center, Laundry, Garden Homes, and all areas associated with Friendship Village
- Kalamazoo; always following departmental guidelines and procedures.
full-time first shift (7a-3p) position with a starting pay $16.00 per hour Ready to jump into a role that matters?

• Maintains floors and carpets throughout Community, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, cleaning carpets, vacuuming, mopping and spot treatment/cleaning.
• Assists with extra assignments and work orders.
• Complete work orders for event set ups and take downs throughout Community.

• Previous Housekeeping/Laundry preferred but not required.
• A compassionate team player that has initiative and integrity.
• Ability to clean Residents rooms and all areas of FVK with minimal disturbance to inhabitant of same.
