Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kamloops, BC. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation and service meet quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, managing meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with management to enhance kitchen efficiency. Additional duties may involve menu planning and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills to manage and coordinate kitchen staff effectively
- Expertise in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food Service
- Proven Culinary Skills, including knowledge of techniques and kitchen equipment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a dynamic kitchen environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Food Safety and Handling Certification is an asset
