Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor
Seasonal Groundskeeping & Housekeeping
Seasonal position (May through August) at Aqua, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, Inc. for groundskeeping and housekeeping tasks.
Duties- Groundskeeping and Housekeeping: sweeping, mowing, organizing, inventory, cleaning, painting pipes, etc.
- Update and maintain documentation of work activities (data entry), closing work orders in the operating system as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and security operating policies, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Pay rate: $16.00 per hour.
- Familiarity with computers and work systems such as Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with customers and internal staff.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, weather permitting.
- Must always follow directions and implement safety procedures.
- Team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment.
- May be subject to extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, and mists.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Working conditions include travel to various work sites.
