Facilities Maintenance Technician
Performs advanced and specialized facilities maintenance and repair activities including installing and maintaining plumbing, replacing stools, urinals, sinks, faucets and pipes. Replaces floor and ceiling tiles. Maintains heating and air conditioning systems to ensure units are running properly. Maintenance and repairs to office equipment and furniture, maintains adequate lighting structures. Performs a variety of duties to support facility operations, removing snow, ice and debris.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) and two years of facilities maintenance experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Knowledge of general sanitation, environmental safety and maintenance techniques, preventive repair and maintenance practices. Skill in maintaining and repairing facilities, structures and equipment.
A valid Kansas driver's license is required.
Salary Range: $18.55- $23.62 /hr.
