Data Center Move Technician

This role supports our current Service Delivery Engineers (SDE) in the Single-Resource Deployment Managed Service and involves traveling to customers’ data centers to assist engineers with lifting and moving hardware equipment.

The consultant will travel within a 100–200 mile radius of their region. For travel beyond 50 miles, a valid driver’s license and ability to rent a car is required.

• Unpack, inspect, and rack or mount hardware components.
• Install solution‑specific chassis components.
• Disposal of used packaging materials to trash or recycling facilities.
• Assist SDEs with hardware installation and move manufacturing logistics to support future Service Delivery Engineer training.

• Background in data center hardware installation preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

This is a contract position lasting one month, based in Kansas City, MO. The role is fully onsite.

Pay range: $25.00–$30.00 per hour.
