Cleaner Ambassador – Federal Background

Job Description

Velociti Services is seeking dependable Cleaners to join our frontline team supporting custodial operations at a secured federal facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards across assigned areas while following strict security and compliance protocols.

• Perform general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms
• Empty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Clean windows and maintain floor care standards (edging, detailing, mopping)
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas throughout shift
• Support team members and shift leads as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Maintain professional conduct and communication at all times

• Ability to follow direction and work in a structured environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform physical tasks throughout shift

• Must have or be willing to obtain a REAL  a condition of employment
• Must pass a federal background check (required for facility access)
• As part of clearance requirements, candidates may be asked to confirm financial standing, including:
  • No unresolved back taxes with federal/state agencies
  • Student loans are current or in good standing

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
