Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to help drive equipment reliability and keep maintenance operations running efficiently. If you enjoy planning, organizing, and coordinating maintenance activities while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance, this could be an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules to support production and maximize equipment reliability.
- Manage maintenance work orders from planning through completion, ensuring labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements are in place.
- Prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate planned outages, equipment overhauls, and shutdown activities.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve overall performance.
- Coordinate contractor activities and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history within the CMMS.
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with maintenance budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- 7+ years of maintenance planning, coordination, or maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Experience using a CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
