Floor Tech

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is looking for an experienced floor technician for an office building downtown Kansas City. Must have experience with walk behind scrubbers and must have reliable attendance.

Wage: $22/hr. + $250 Sign-On Bonus after 4 months of employment

** This role is for Union Buildings. Union Dues are required after 90 days of employment**

This position requires government clearance.

CLEAN BACKGROUND REQUIRED!!!!

You will need to apply for GSA badging including fingerprints. We will start the process once hired.

**** Must have a REAL  Passport.

This is a federal building and you can not enter without one of them. The REAL  a yellow star in the top right corner***

Shifts:

5:00PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Dust mop and sweep floors
• Run walk behind scrubber nightly
• Carpet cleaning as needed
• Maintain floor equipment and report any repairs to management
• Perform other janitorial duties as required

Physical and Other Requirements

• Must have floor scrubbing experience
• Must have carpet extraction experience
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
