Terminal Operator

What You Can Expect :

• Leading and operating handling equipment like reachstacker
• Receiving, setting down, stacking and transporting containers in the terminal area including load securing as well as maintenance and care work
• Controlling the load securing on the collecting vehicles and compliance with all safety regulations
• Documenting movements, damages and special features in internal communication
• Supporting operational activities in the yard and gate area
• Collaboration and corresponding data maintenance via our modern terminal software as well as further PC activities

What You Bring:

• Completed vocational training in a commercial-technical field (desirable)
• Experience in leading forklift or handling equipment, ideally in a port or terminal environment
• Possession of a valid forklift license or device-specific qualification
• Willingness to work shifts (early/late/night) and outdoor work
• Good German language skills;
  English language skills are advantageous
• Reliable, responsible and safety-oriented working method
• Team skills and ability to cope with pressure even under time constraints
• PC skills are advantageous
