Seasonal Equipment Yard Coordinator
Do you enjoy working outdoors and operating equipment in a fast paced, high-energy position? This position works with multiple departments to ensure our customers receive quality service for all their equipment needs including rentals, purchasing new and used equipment or just dropping off for service repair.
Employment Dates:
Approximately June 1, 2026 - October 2026
Hours:
8:00a - 5:00p, Monday - Friday
- Operate and inspect machines for any operational issues or damages
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to equipment
- Organize and maintain machine displays, yard storage area, and work area
- Serve customers safely with urgency and excellence
- Conduct inventory counts
- Prepare and clean rental, used, and sales equipment
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Basic maintenance experience with various types of equipment
- Familiarity and working knowledge of equipment usage and how equipment is operated
- Can work successfully in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to drive and valid license required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience working directly with customers

This role involves active, hands-on work in a yard and equipment environment. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include:
- Occasional lifting of heavier items up to 75 pounds
- Regular lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds
- Standing and walking continuously throughout the workday, with occasional sitting
- Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching at various heights
- Pushing and pulling equipment or materials with varying levels of force
- Climbing on and off equipment or raised surfaces and maintaining balance while doing so
- Frequent use of hands for gripping, handling, and fine motor coordination
- Maintaining full range of motion, including neck and trunk movement and rotation
- Performing tasks requiring coordination of hands and feet
- Working with and around heavy equipment in an outdoor yard environment
- Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Occasional travel for business purposes, as needed
- Work is performed both outdoors and indoors, with the majority of time spent in an outdoor yard environment
- Indoor work may occur in warehouse areas that are not climate-controlled
- Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation
- Potential exposure to fuels and chemicals such as gasoline, diesel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents
- Noise levels are typically moderate
- Travel may involve working in different climates and environmental conditions
Final candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment contingent upon successfully completing a post-offer, pre-employment process. This process may include:
- Drug and alcohol screening (including marijuana, as Foley is a federal contractor and subject to federal requirements)
- Criminal background check conducted in accordance with applicable laws
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, where applicable
- Job-related physical assessment to evaluate ability to safely perform essential job functions
