Kendal at Oberlin's Dining Services team currently has an opening for a part-time (20 hrs/wk: 5:00p-10:00p)
Kitchen Utility/Floor Cleaner
. The Utility/Floor Cleaner will perform the jobs of dish washing, cleaning and receiving and floor maintenance. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
To perform the jobs of dish washing, pot and pan washing, cleaning and receiving, checking and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.
- Operating dish machines.
- Washing pots and pans.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen counters and floors.
- Sweeping, mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the department's sanitation.
- Cleaning and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Candidates must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
- Some experience in food services highly desirable.
- Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds. Stands and walks all day.
- Appearance must be clean and neat.
