Overview

Minneola Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out essential housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our healthcare facilities, including clinics, hospitals, and long-term care units.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks in assigned areas of Minneola Healthcare facilities, including patient rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
  • Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to efficiently remove dirt, dust, and debris from surfaces.
  • Assist with laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, bedding, towels, and other items according to organizational standards.
  • Ensure that laundry equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and coordinate efforts to meet cleaning and laundry needs effectively.
  • Follow infection control guidelines and protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects or equipment as required.
