Goddard Public Schools has an opening for an Assistant Director of Maintenance / Maintenance Supervisor.
**** This position assists the Director of Maintenance in leading the district s maintenance and custodial operations while helping plan, coordinate, and maintain safe, efficient, and well‑maintained facilities across the district.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance and custodial staff, coordinating facility and capital improvement projects, overseeing building systems, supporting energy management, and responding to facility emergencies as needed.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience in maintenance, construction, or the building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and roofing. This is a 12-month position that requires flexibility in scheduling, including on-call responsibilities for emergencies. The position regularly requires lifting up to 100 pounds and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
