Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our skilled nursing facility. In this resident-centered role, you will maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Duties include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, linen changes, trash removal, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces according to infection-control standards. You'll follow cleaning schedules, use housekeeping equipment safely, and report maintenance or safety issues.

Working closely with nursing and caregiving teams, you help create a welcoming, dignified environment that supports the health, comfort, and quality of life of our senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors and surfaces
• Change bed linens and restock towels and supplies
• Collect and dispose of trash and biohazard waste per policy
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment safely
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Support resident comfort, privacy, and dignity
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams to meet resident needs
