The Facility Service Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of facility assets, infrastructure, and material handling equipment within a smaller Distribution Center environment. This role supports a less complex operation with limited automation and technology compared to larger-scale distribution centers and collaborates closely with Facility Service Managers across the network to ensure consistency in standards, safety, and performance.
This position leads a small team of technical and mechanical specialists and is accountable for driving team engagement, reinforcing safe work practices, and promoting accountability and performance. The Facility Service Supervisor demonstrates hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and effective collaboration with peers, operations partners, and Facility Service Managers to support reliable distribution center operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

* Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM***
- Manages day-to-day maintenance and repairs of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment and related utilities.
- Executes complex work on malfunctioning equipment required to restore machinery to satisfactory operating conditions.
- Enforces a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.
- Assists manager with developing emergency plans and maintaining physical preparedness designs to assist and protect employees in emergency situations.
- Coordinates processes and assignments from the asset management system work orders and ensures entries are completed in a timely manner.
- Advises team members on basic maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Directs the workflow of maintenance staff and monitors the performance of their assigned responsibilities.
- Assesses needs for qualified maintenance staff and ensures adequate staffing efforts.
- Assists in the management of training programs to enhance team members' skills and departmental capabilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management or leadership experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and budgeting.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with maintenance practices for critical operating equipment.
- 2 years of experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), procurement platforms, and service ticketing systems.
- Engineering degree or background (Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical).
- OSHA certifications (10, 30, 50).
- Additional certifications in Industrial Safety or First Aid.
- Competency in Ariba Procurement and Service Channel systems.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Suite of product as well as Auto Cad.
- Understanding of conveyor controls and technologies.
- Strong analytical capabilities using tools such as CMMS and SAP.
- Subject matter expertise in powered industrial equipment.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
