Building & Grounds Utility Worker - Oahu

Responsibilities

Perform routine manual and semi‑skilled tasks involved in minor building maintenance and repair work, including general grounds keeping work.

• Legal authorization to work:
  State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Training and experience: A combination of training and experience substantially equivalent to two (2) years in maintenance and minor repair of buildings and general grounds keeping work.
• Special requirement:
  Ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Driver’s license:
  Possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment (required for immediate vacancies).
