The Exterior Services Technician team is committed to maintaining the outdoor environments of Walmart and Sam’s Club locations through skilled landscaping and equipment operation. • Prepare and manage budgets by developing cost estimates and approving purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to ensure timely completion of scheduled projects and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee landscaping, snow removal, equipment servicing, and facility repairs to maintain safe and functional exterior environments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following established safety and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with third‑party providers, conduct quality inspections, and provide coaching to support professional development.
• Troubleshoot facility issues, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver responsive customer service.
• Monitor and implement improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.

• Proven experience in facility repair, maintenance, and landscaping operations including mowing, herbicide application, and mulch installation.
• Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and weed eaters safely and effectively.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to exterior services and environmental guidelines.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, customer service, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business and facility needs.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, cost control, and adherence to company policies and ethical standards.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 – $35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable local minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

• Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field.

• Associate’s Degree or similar certification in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related field.
• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM).
• Third‑party management experience.
• Project Management Professional certification.
