Overview
Davis County 4-H is seeking a motivated part-time summer intern to support our summer programming season.
Responsibilities- Complete various projects and maintenance tasks around the 4-H Clubhouse and property to support a safe and welcoming environment
- Assist 4-H staff with running 4-H summer camps
- Help coordinate and manage 4-H indoor exhibits at the Summer Fun Fest, including setup, display, and participant support
- Support all aspects of the Jr. Livestock Show — from pre-event preparation through show day logistics and operations
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support the 4-H program team during peak summer season
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
- Adapts to changing conditions or assignments
- Team player
- Productive with a solid work ethic
- Dependable and punctual

ADAThe environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoors, the 4-H clubhouse is protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Duties inside include exhibits, events, and administrative tasks.
During regular outdoors work in the 4-H clubhouse yard and surrounding grounds, incumbents may not be protected from weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold. Additionally, indoor or outdoor work environments may include being confined or in narrow spaces for periods of time. The incumbent may also be exposed to loud noises or vibrations from equipment, and conditions that may affect the respiratory system, such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, and poor ventilation.
Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds and be required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time. The position is active the majority of the time; occasional periods of seated work.
