Job DescriptionThe Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including garbage disposal, floors, dusting countertops and work area.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area – emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing unwanted vehicle parts, placing tools and equipment properly.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds clean, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre‑wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
- Clean customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sub‑let locations for repairs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking 5+ minutes; sitting/standing 5+ minutes.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl 1+ minute.
- Operate motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work near moving mechanical parts.
- Customer service abilities.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
Clear close vision required (18 years or older).
