If you are looking for a team that brings out the best in each other, a team that has fun and are proud of their work - we want to hear from you. Cafe Quattro located at the Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for Baristas.
We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!
What will you be doing?
Greet guests in a friendly, engaging manner and assist with drink/food recommendationsPrepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beveragesOperate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage making equipmentTake customer orders accurately and efficientlyOperate the POS for processing customer transactions efficientlyMaintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and serving areasUphold food safety standards in food handling and preparationProvide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptlyCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periodsDemonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards.Have full and complete knowledge of all menusAbility to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way.Additional duties as assigned by ManagementWhat are we looking for?
Previous experience working as a BaristaServing it Right CertificateExperience working in the food service industry preferredFood & Beverage knowledge an assetExceptional organization with attention to accuracy and problem-solving abilityExcellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.Team player, with willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service.Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask.Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time.Perks:
