Temporary General Maintenance​/Laborer - NPREC

Under the general direction and supervision of the recreation director and/or maintenance supervisor, thispositionis responsible for maintaining North Peninsula Recreation Service Area (NPRSA) facilities, grounds, equipment and trails by performinggeneral labor, custodial and maintenance duties.

• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• High school diploma or GED;
• Valid, unrestricted Alaska driver's license required; and,
• Desirable qualities include building and grounds maintenance experience and/or general laborer experience and ability towork independently with little to no supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to see, talk and hear; swim; stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch; and occasionally required to use hands and fingers dexterously to operate equipment and controls. The employee must occasionally transport up to 50 pounds and very occasionally more than 100 pounds.
