Groundskeeper

FCI Residential is a part of Florida Crystals Corporation’s real estate division, which focuses on multi-family residential development in urban and in‑fill areas. The real estate division currently has approximately 5,500 units in the development process throughout Florida.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of building exteriors and the curb appeal of the community by maintaining the highest levels of superb presentation. This includes the amenities, leasing office, model apartments, breezeways and common areas.

• Provide excellent curb appeal at all times.
• Daily cleaning of building exteriors, breezeways and hallways including light fixtures, mailbox area, fire extinguisher boxes, entry doors, stairs and railings.
• Remove all debris throughout the community including amenities, walkways, community entrance, model apartments and Leasing Office daily.
• Clean amenity restrooms and restock supplies.
• Clean compactor and trash chute areas each morning and maintain throughout the day.
• Assist maintenance team with periodic scheduled preventative maintenance programs.
• Help keep a neat, orderly, and safe workshop.
• Advise Maintenance Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Notify the Maintenance Supervisor of any areas needing special attention or correction (unhealthy plants, sod, trees, etc.).
• Maintain required property uniform and always ensure a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Be knowledgeable of management company and community policies and procedures.
• Take care of all equipment and supplies owned by the community.
• Complete required training courses either online or in person.
• Follow all OSHA standards and company safety policies. Attend monthly safety trainings and report any hazardous or risk liability situations to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

• Work professionally as part of a team and independently complete assignments.
• Willingness to pitch in and work in areas other than strictly grounds keeping, such as janitorial, painting, etc.
• Ability to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager in their duties as needed.

• Constant need to be on feet (66%–100% of the time).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds; lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs. requires assistance at all times.
• Expectations to be outdoors (66%–100%) and indoors (1%–33%) of the time.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, paint fumes, solvents, adhesives (1%–33% of the time).
• Flexibility to work longer hours if necessary to fulfill job duties.

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• English required (bi‑lingual a plus).
