The Industrial Technician II supports maintenance operations within assigned processing facilities. This role applies solid technical knowledge to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment while following established procedures and safety standards. The technician works independently on routine tasks and collaborates with senior technicians and leadership on more complex issues.

• Perform routine and intermediate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on industrial machinery and systems
• Support daily maintenance operations within assigned facility or area
• Execute preventative maintenance activities according to established schedules and procedures
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and minor improvement projects
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues accurately
• Identify potential equipment issues and elevate complex problems to senior technicians or leadership
• Support root cause investigations for equipment issues as directed
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors under guidance, as needed
• Follow all safety, food safety, and USDA requirements
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Other duties as assigned

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
• Basic familiarity with automation systems and PLC interfaces (troubleshooting support level)
• Strong attention to safety and compliance standards

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments
• Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts

This position involves hands‑on technical work and troubleshooting. The role requires the ability to work in various environments, including production floors, mechanical rooms, and offices. Some travel between facilities may be necessary. The technician must be comfortable working around heavy machinery, at heights, and in confined spaces. The position may involve on‑call duties for emergency situations and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various climate conditions.
