Pizza Maker Job Description – Konstantino Pizza & Wings
Konstantino Pizza & Wings is seeking a skilled, reliable Pizza Maker to craft high-quality pizzas and wings in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. You’ll prepare dough and toppings, operate stone ovens and fryers, maintain food safety standards, and deliver consistent taste and presentation that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities- Prep and line setup:
Prepare and portion dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings;
Set, stock, and rotate inventory (FIFO) - Pizza production:
Hand-stretch, roll, or sheet dough to spec;
Build pizzas per recipes and order tickets; maintain portion accuracy;
Operate ovens; monitor bake times/temperatures for ideal crust and doneness - Wings and fry station:
Fry wings to temp; toss in sauces/rubs per order;
Maintain fryer oil quality and station cleanliness - Quality and speed:
Hit ticket-time targets during rushes;
Ensure consistent appearance, taste, and portion control - Food safety and sanitation:
Follow HACCP/Serv Safe practices, allergen and cross-contact procedures;
Maintain clean work areas; complete opening/closing and deep-clean tasks - Customer service and teamwork:
Communicate clearly with counter/expedite staff and delivery team;
Positively engage guests - Inventory and equipment:
Receive and store deliveries;
Calibrate/operate ovens, fryers, mixers, slicers safely; report maintenance needs - Cashier/POS support (as needed)
- 1+ year back-of-house experience preferred (pizza or high-volume kitchen); will train the right candidate
- Knowledge of dough handling, proofing, and oven operation a plus
- Food Handler/Serv Safe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math and reading skills for recipes, portions, and POS tickets
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive during peak rush periods

- Stand, bend, and lift throughout shift; lift up to 50 lb (flour, dough, oil)
- Work in hot, fast-paced kitchen near ovens and fryers
- Manual dexterity for dough stretching and topping
Part-time; evenings, weekends, and holidays required
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–11:00 PM (hours may vary by location)
