Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance / Sanitation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility while also assisting with basic maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments and understand the importance of safety, sanitation, and equipment upkeep
Shift and PositionShift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday| 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, machinery, restrooms, and common areas
- Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and compliant work environment
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
- Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment and machinery
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
- Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance inventory
- Support production teams by ensuring work areas remain organized and hazard-free
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums
- Follow GMP, OSHA, and company safety regulations at all times
- Complete sanitation and maintenance documentation accurately
- Previous maintenance, janitorial, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
- Experience with industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitation standards
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
