Maintenance Director
Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Maintenance Director to join our amazing team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:- Perform and oversee building repairs, preventative maintenance, and scheduled maintenance programs
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare rooms for resident admissions and discharges
- Ensure facility compliance with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and Department of Health regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and maintenance equipment
- Oversee the maintenance department's financial and operational budgets
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs and procedures
- Prior experience in maintenance within healthcare or long-term care strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of life safety codes and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications a plus
