Join the Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation team as a part-time Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. As a Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility's floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
About the Role/Responsibilities:As a Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician at Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Restocking supplies and materials as needed
- Performing custodial tasks, such as emptying trash and recycling bins, and restocking paper products
- Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Working closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Valid driver's license
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility, or Long-Term Care Facility preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
