Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Operations Manager specializing in the maintenance of the ice at the Accesso Sho Ware Center.

• Oversee installation of an NHL‑quality ice sheet, including preparation and painting of all ice logos.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and all building equipment.
• Operate and maintain the ice‑resurface (Zamboni) and ice‑edger, and keep glass and dasher boards in good condition.
• Monitor temperature and humidity levels.
• Direct and supervise employees assisting with ice installation and maintenance.
• Assist with day‑of‑event needs for hockey games and other events.
• Perform general related maintenance of the building.
• Hire, train, and develop staff, fostering service‑oriented attitudes.
• Verify and code time‑clock punches for department employees.
• Schedule work shifts to ensure proper coverage of all event requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety codes and laws.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical requirements include the ability to communicate verbally, walk, climb, kneel, move around the facility, and lift at least 80lbs. Duties may be performed in adverse weather and various working conditions.

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Possess any licenses, certificates, or training required by local, state, or national authorities for operating facility equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ice installation, preparation, and maintenance procedures, including building, repairing, and treating ice and hydraulic equipment.
• Understand operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event‑related services, and technical requirements for anticipated events.
• Follow safety precautions, rules, regulations, risk‑management, and emergency procedures.
• Work independently with judgment and initiative.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and produce accurate results.
• Communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

A high school diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of ice floor and operations experience, preferably in a WHL or similar facility. Completion of accredited courses from an ice‑making technology school is considered a strong plus.
