Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Overview
As a Quotations Specialist, you will be responsible for quoting material from plans and specifications on construction projects. This may also include building a Bill of Materials from a blueprint or working with a customer to suggest products on design-build projects.
Primary Duties- Interact with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to suggest products to be used on all types of construction projects.
- Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.
- Act as source of technical expertise within the branch.
- Collect and analyze quotations data to determine patterns of success or failure, measured by product type, manufacturer, bid amounts, and customers.
- High school diploma or GED; and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A two-year trade school or four-year college degree is strongly recommended.
- Background in wholesale electrical distribution or electrical contracting preferred.
- Understanding of the bid process.
- Plan/specification reading, product knowledge and application preferred.
- The expected rate of pay for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually; inclusive of base plus bonus opportunity.
Often sitting, use of hands/fingers, reaching with hands/arms, talking and hearing.
Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
