Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

A food manufacturing company located in Kent is looking for a full‑time Maintenance Technician. You will be a team player with strong electrical aptitude and a diligent approach to work.

The position is first shift (6 am‑2:30 pm) with occasional overtime during peak seasons.

Location:

Kent, WA.

• Maintain all operational equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Facilitate process set‑up and start‑up as needed.
• Collaborate with other functional departments in scheduling downtime and preventive maintenance repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years' industrial mechanic experience.
• Technically sound and hands‑on in troubleshooting CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and multi‑processing equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of PLCs.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and applications.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
• Strong written, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented and results‑focused.
• Knowledge and application of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to act as a liaison with vendors when necessary.
• Flexible to work extended or Saturday hours as demands require.

• Ability to climb and move around machinery.
• Ability to kneel, stand, or bend and lift 50 + pounds.
• Ability to work at heights.
