DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
In this position, you will provide manual labor in the construction and maintenance at Cook Forest State Park Complex. Your work will involve the use of a large variety of construction and maintenance equipment and tools in many different tasks. You will dig holes, load trucks, remove trees, and mow grass. Some of your duties will also include cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and acting as a helper to skilled workers to assist them with their duties.
Additionally, you will make repairs to buildings and facilities, using carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tools in the performance of this maintenance work.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal full-time employment from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. Upon successful completion of a probationary period, the employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
- Work hours and days will vary. You will work five pays per week including, weekends and holidays, 37.5 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;
or - An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
