Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Calvert City

The purpose of the maintenance supervisor is to direct and supervise a work force composed of Company employees and contract maintenance personnel in procedures and techniques of repairing, rebuilding and preventive maintenance of major mechanical equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise crafts in maintenance department in the performance of repairs and preventive maintenance for all mechanical equipment

* Analyzes problems in malfunctioning units in Plant

* Establishes standard maintenance procedures

* Requests major repair parts, materials and equipment for normal repairing and turnaround jobs

* Makes recommendations and executes approved modifications to equipment

* Organizes effective workforce for twenty-four hours maintenance capability

* Recommends necessary spare parts for major equipment in the Plant

* Plans and carries out preventive maintenance and repair maintenance work

* Contacts vendors to provide technical assistance required to obtain comparable bids on purchases of installation of equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Five years' experience in maintenance or operations at a process plant. Hands on experience preferred.
