Summary
:
Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies; dust furniture and equipment; polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork; wash windows, door panels, sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.

Other duties may be assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in English.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; perform using units of money, weight, volume, distance.

Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; handle standardized situations with few variables.
