Maintenance Supervisor

The purpose of the maintenance supervisor is to direct and supervise a work force composed of Company employees and contract maintenance personnel in procedures and techniques of repairing, rebuilding and preventive maintenance of major mechanical equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise crafts in maintenance department in the performance of repairs and preventive maintenance for all mechanical equipment

Analyzes problems in malfunctioning units in Plant Establishes standard maintenance procedures

Requests major repair parts, materials and equipment for normal repairing and turnaround jobs Makes recommendations and executes approved modifications to equipment

Organizes effective workforce for twenty-four hours maintenance capability

Recommends necessary spare parts for major equipment in the Plant Plans and carries out preventive maintenance and repair maintenance work Contacts vendors to provide technical assistance required to obtain comparable bids on purchases of installation of equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Five years' experience in maintenance or operations at a process plant. Hands on experience preferred.
