Maintenance Supervisor – Carrollton, KY

• Prepare, coordinate and control daily maintenance activities for the plant, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation maintenance and repair to ensure high productivity, quality, and safety.
• Supervise the team to maintain and increase safety, efficiency and skills, promoting a cooperative attitude with subordinates.
• Train staff on all applicable equipment and instruments.
• Assist and advise in the installation of new equipment to achieve the desired reliability of electrical and instrumental equipment.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is planned and carried out.
• Participate in the execution of maintenance and capital projects such as shutdowns, plant modifications, etc.
• Supervise suppliers and contractors day‑to‑day activities and conduct periodic vendor assessment.
• Ensure contractors comply with Cabot safety and all site procedures.
• Maintain maximum plant availability using established reliability principles.
• Practice Performance‑Based Management by coaching and developing employees.
• Support efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care Management System in line with RC14001 technical specifications, as applicable.

• Knowledge of maintenance crafts and areas such as confined space entry, lockout/tagout, hot work permitting, etc.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance, reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to gather, analyze and draw well‑reasoned conclusions.
• Understanding of general manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of accident/near‑miss investigation and reporting procedures.
• Environmental awareness.
• Associate’s or Technical College degree (University/Technical degree preferred).
• Four or more years of maintenance experience in a chemical/petrochemical plant, plus at least three years of supervisory experience.
