General Butler State Resort Park is in the heart of the Bluegrass, offering a blend of country tranquility and city accessibility. This position is part of the Kentucky Department of Parks and provides the opportunity to maintain the park's facilities and amenities.
Key Responsibilities- Performs general maintenance of facilities and equipment
- General skillset in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
- Work on special projects to upkeep, restore, and rejuvenate the park
- Analytical thinking
- Time management
- Teamwork
- Ability to work under pressure
- Communication skills
- High school graduate
- Four years of experience in maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems
- Experience or training can substitute for education or experience on a year‑for‑year basis
- Must be 18 years of age
May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty‑four hours a day.
Probationary PeriodInitial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
