Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Location: Gresham
Senior Technician-Equipment (CVD)
This position supports maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at our Fab 4 facility in Gresham, Oregon. The work schedule is a back‑day compressed shift (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday, 6:15 AM – 6:30 AM).
Essential Functions- Repair Watkins Johnson, Novellus CVD, and Cu Sabre, AG RTP, and Applied Centura RTP systems.
- Work with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.
- Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical/electronic schematics.
- Practice effective written and verbal communication.
- Document work in maintenance logs.
- Follow procedures and instructions.
- Contribute as a reliable, effective team member with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- AA degree in a technical field or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training, or technical degree.
- Seven or more years of experience in equipment maintenance performing preventive maintenance on Novellus tools.
- Solid organizational, documentation, and writing skills.
- Creative problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Self‑directed, self‑motivated.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience on Novellus and AMAT tools.
- Additional experience in other fab maintenance areas.
- Active member of the Fab 4 Emergency Response Team.
- Ability to meet ERT physical requirements.
- Must pass a physical, fitness test, and medical clearance for the use of a tight‑fitting respirator (SCBA full‑face mask).
- Must maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full‑face mask.
- Must be willing to travel for training purposes.

- Able to lift, push, and pull approximately 50 lb; carry 50 lb; sit 5 %, stand 60 %, walk 35 %. Must perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, hearing, talking, seeing. Work environment may include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes, odors, dust, or gases.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
