Salary: $16.00 per hour
Job DescriptionSummary: Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention center, or other institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment:
The employee occasionally works in high or precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level can be loud.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and speak. Frequent climbing or balancing. Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close and distance vision.

Experience:
No prior experience or training required. - Language Ability: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondences in English; ability to present information to customers and colleagues one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply/divide with tens and hundreds, including handling U.S. currency and measurements.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with only occasional variables.
- Certificates and Licenses: None required.
