Agent D'entretien et de Cantine - Mairie de Montrond LES BAINS

Job Title

The Town Hall of Montrond les Bains is looking for a maintenance and catering agent from September to December 2026. The contract may be renewed until August 31, 2027. The agent will be responsible for tasks related to the school catering service. They will carry out the necessary cleaning and maintenance of school premises. They will work alone and in groups.

Please note the annual schedule of 29.5 hours to account for school (peak) and non-school (off-peak) periods:
Monday: 8:00 AM - 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (only during school holidays from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (only during school holidays from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM) Wednesday: not worked Thursday: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (only during school holidays from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM) Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (only during school holidays from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM)

Participate in the operation of the kindergarten school restaurant and the maintenance of the premises assigned to school catering:

- Prepare the service in compliance with hygiene rules and HACCP procedures: checking deliveries and temperatures, reheating dishes, arranging appetizers and desserts, preparing portions if necessary, cutting bread...

- Set up tables, chairs, plates, cutlery... according to the number of diners, - Serve meals to children (in two separate services if necessary) - Participate in clearing and cleaning tables
- Ensure dishwashing, cleaning and tidying up the kitchen, dining rooms and adjacent areas (corridors, toilets), in compliance with hygiene rules and HACCP procedures

Ensure the maintenance of the premises:

- Ensure the constant cleanliness of the premises, furniture and equipment used
- Ensure the cleanliness of the toilets
- During school holidays, participate in deep cleaning (classrooms, toilets, games, equipment...) - Organize work methodically according to the schedule and oral or written instructions
- Handle and carry materials and machinery
- Vacuum, sweep, wash, dust premises, surfaces, ceilings
- Respect the conditions of use of products

Ensure the maintenance and tidying up of the equipment used:

- Clean equipment and machinery after use
- Methodically tidy up products after use (especially separate toxic products from others) Check the supply of materials and products:

- Check the quantity and quality of products
- Identify signs of product expiration

Knowledge / Know-how:

- Know the environment of the community.

- Know the time slots for the use of premises.

- Know the basic hygiene rules in the community.

- Know the basic safety rules.

- Know the gestures and postures of handling.

- Know the modes of use of materials and products.

- Know the storage conditions of products and how to differentiate them (acids/bases, toxic... ).

- Know how to identify surfaces to be treated.

- Know how to sweep, wash, vacuum, dust.

- Know how to check the state of cleanliness of surfaces before leaving the workplace.

- Know how to detect anomalies and malfunctions and report them. Know-how:
