Robards Plant Maintenance Generalist all Shifts

Job Details

Position:
Maintenance Generalist (Rotating schedule of 3‑day and 4‑day workweeks with 12‑hour shifts). Pay: $24.10 to $30.15 per hour, depending on experience. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while upholding a safety culture and adhering to Tyson policies.

• Maintain and promote Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform various positions as required/assigned.
• Assist maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign maintenance technicians to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Train maintenance technicians on equipment.
• Utilize computer‑based PM program to track equipment maintenance.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assist in other plant areas.

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• Learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation.
• Communicate with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers.
• Use math to compute work‑related calculations for machinery and fluid capacities.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. periodically and work on feet during a 12‑hour shift.
• Complete all required training for the job.

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or graduation from or enrollment in an industrial maintenance training program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
