Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician

Hours:

24 hours per week, with possible on-call duties as needed.

Homeland Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep tasks and ensure the functionality of an apartment complex in Inez, KY. This role offers a flexible schedule, paid holidays, and vacation benefits (eligibility and grace periods apply).

• Conduct minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, blinds, filling wall gaps, and touch-up painting.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g., ventilation, piping, electrical systems).
• Check control panels and ensure the functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms).
• Collaborate with coworkers and external professionals during renovations.
• Report issues to the Facilities Manager.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their use.
• Preferably some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools with safety protocols.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and follow instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Reliable transportation.
