Donations Associate (part-time

This is a part-time position that reports to the Director of Angels’ Attic, with secondary reporting to the Donations Center Coordinator.

Primary responsibility is to provide support for CAM’s Donation Center and Facilities, by assisting with donation intake, pick-ups, and intake distribution. In addition, this position will also support light maintenance type activities as needed and assigned including janitorial duties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist donors with unloading donations at Donation In-Take area.
• Sort, process, and distribute donations to designated areas for further processing.
• Serve as an additional driver of CAM truck to pick up donations as requested/scheduled.
• Jointly with team members maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the Donation Warehouse.
• Jointly with team members ensure that grounds/property are clean, and all debris is picked up.
• Maintain clean waste management area.
• Perform regular light maintenance tasks which include changing light bulbs, air filters, minor repairs, touch up painting, etc… as directed by Director, Donation and Facility Operations.
• Setup and tear down for special events, meetings, and other tasks as assigned.
• Perform light Janitorial duties as needed including restocking restrooms, cleanup of spills, and trash removal.
• Jointly with team members promote workplace safety.
  
  Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on ladder, lift items over head, move canvas bins and rolling racks.
• Reliable
• Must be available to work on Saturdays

This is a part-time position, with Saturdays required.
12-18 hours per week
