Housekeeping

Part time - 16-20 hours per week to start but ramping into a full time position as the work areas grow. Cleaning the Management trailer (bathrooms included) as well as the Logistics area, which is inside the warehouse.

Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, taking out trash 1-3 days per week.

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor/Housekeeper to support a large warehouse construction project. This position will initially focus on maintaining the management trailers, offices, break areas, and logistics crew areas located within the project environment. As construction activity and staffing increase, the position will expand to include additional cleaning and general housekeeping responsibilities throughout the jobsite. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping work areas clean, organized, and professional.

• Sweep and mop floors in management trailers, offices, break areas, and crew areas
• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, desks, and common surfaces
• Clean and maintain restrooms and other facilities as assigned
• Empty trash cans and transport trash to designated disposal areas
• Replace trash liners and maintain cleaning supplies
• Clean entrances, walkways, and high-traffic areas
• Perform general dusting and housekeeping
• Maintain logistics and employee break areas
• Assist with cleanup of additional areas throughout the warehouse construction site as the project expands
• Identify areas requiring additional cleaning or attention
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner
• Follow all project safety requirements while working around construction activities
• Perform other general cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or construction cleanup experience preferred
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to take direction and adjust priorities based on project needs
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse construction environment
• Ability to work around construction personnel, equipment, materials, dust, and changing site conditions
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow all jobsite rules and PPE requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Push and pull cleaning equipment, trash containers, and supplies
• Carry cleaning supplies and materials throughout the facility
• Perform repetitive sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning activities
• Safely lift and carry up to approximately 40–50 lbs. as needed

This position will begin at approximately 16–20 hours per week. As the construction project grows and additional areas become active, hours and responsibilities are expected to increase.

The ideal candidate is looking for a position that can grow with the project and is willing to assist wherever housekeeping and general cleanup support are needed.
