Floor Technician

Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team on a PRN basis
. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout our facility.

• PRN (As Needed)
• Night Shift
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Perform specialized floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and scrubbing floors
• Clean and shampoo carpets and upholstered furniture as assigned
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain hard surface floors in patient and non-patient care areas
• Remove spills and debris promptly to ensure a safe environment
• Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for floor maintenance projects
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the facility
• Support the Environmental Services team with additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Previous floor care or environmental services experience preferred but not required
• Experience operating floor maintenance equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
