The W Assisted Living Communities is looking for a handy, reliable Maintenance Assistant to work alongside our Maintenance Supervisor. We have our eye out for a compassionate and energetic candidate who's comfortable rolling up their sleeves and supporting the day-to-day upkeep of our community.

• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to support the general interior and exterior upkeep of the facility

• Assist with regular walkthroughs of the facility and grounds to help ensure basic safety compliance

• Help identify and report unusual conditions or malfunctions of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems, or any other maintenance-related incidents

• Assist with basic repairs, including sheetrock, flooring, and lighting, under the Supervisor's direction

• Handy, hands-on, and comfortable with basic construction and repair work

• Prior experience as a Maintenance Worker in an Assisted Living Facility is a big plus, but not required

• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team

• Ability to interact with residents with respect, patience, and dignity
