Walmart is recruiting Landscape Operators to oversee exterior services at retail locations, ensuring outdoor areas are maintained year‑round.
Key Responsibilities- Mow, trim, prune, and perform other grounds maintenance in parking lots and building exteriors.
- Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks.
- Work with team associates to manage landscaping and exterior maintenance activities.
- Follow safety, security, and integrity protocols in line with corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and practices.
- Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Successful completion of a DOT physical and required medical certification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in landscaping or gardening.
- Maintenance of a 90‑day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management or related field.
- Experience in third‑party management.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Spanish speaking proficiency.
- State or local licensing where required.
Full‑time position with competitive hourly wage range of $19.00–$35.00, subject to local minimum wage.
