Position requires timely and responsive performance of water and/or wastewater operations activities to ensure the delivery of services in compliance with State and Federal Clean Water and Safe Drinking Water Regulations. Duties include general maintenance and routine equipment maintenance in accordance with the daily schedule and maintenance plan. Areas of responsibility are the efficient operation of the Water Treatment Plant and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant.
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position working 40 hours per week that requires occasional work on weekends and holidays and overtime work as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required. Combination of education and experience
commensurate with the stated skills and specific duties attendant to this position will be
considered. Must possess and maintain—or obtain within six months of hire—a Colorado Class
D Certification for Water and Wastewater Operator. Colorado Water, Wastewater, Distribution
and Collections Certification are desirable. Possess and maintain valid Colorado Driver License.
Minimum 18 years of age. Acceptable drug test.
Hiring range $22.50-$26.69 per hour with comprehensive benefit options including health,
